San Bernardino County School Boards Association is an active association of school board members throughout San Bernardino County. The Executive Committee meets about six times per year to discuss common issues and to plan events for the full association membership. The county association also supports the activities, events, and conferences of the California School Boards Association (CSBA), a statewide association of nearly 1,000 school districts and county offices of education.

There are three full membership meetings. The meeting in October is a joint meeting with Riverside County. The winter meeting is considered the Annual Meeting where elections of officers and area directors take place. In April, SBCSBA has its Spring Awards program honoring recipients of the Education Medal of Honor and the Distinguished Service Award.

SBCSBA also sponsors training for effective governance. It offers the "Boardsmanship" training series of four workshops every two years.
